Donald K Bruce MD
Chief Executive Officer Founded and grew Physician
Health Alliance, a major east coast primary care network, compounding
revenue growth to a sustained 23% over the decade of his tenure,
to net revenue of $14 million, and a 185 employee group medical
practice in Boston, MA. He served as Executive Director for Partners
Community Health Care with responsibilities for practice acquisitions,
sub-capitation agreements and IT strategic planning. He received
his MD degree in 1978 from George Washington University, his MBA
1994 Boston University.
During his tenure as CEO he championed outpatient CQI initiatives,
reorganized care delivery into teams and created a system approach
to the care of patients. Keenly attuned to the impact of "system
deficiencies" as root causes of errors he has integrated
this approach to the creation of Virtual Health Networks. Looking
to fulfill the promise of the TCP/IP framework for systems integration
the intent is to reinvent the workflow of Physicians into a new
and more rewarding relationship with the patient community.
